Chili Cook Off Results
For my first event I have hosted was marked in the fact I greatly underestimated the amount of available time during the holiday season. Eek so sorry for not getting this out a week earlier as promised heck so sorry for being a slacker again.
I got two awesome entries in one from my buddy Mike over at Mike’s Table and the other from the coolest veggie in the world Jen over at Jennifer’s Cooking.
Mike as many people know is an insane man with a thirst for the rare and odd which is why I always love to see his posts. In his dish he well seriously words can not describe how amazing these flavors sound.

My girl Jennifer is one of the reasons why I do not hate all vegetarians. This chili is amazing looking and best of all great use of the cornbread as a topper so you get that awesome contrast of textures.

Thank you two for participating and I will e-mailing you both shortly about prizes for both of you.

Jeff, I wanted to do this, but I totally lost track of it over the holidays!! You need to do it again!
Thanks for hosting (and the kind words)! Hopefully not the last of the chili cookoffs–I’m always happy to have an excuse to make some sort of chili (and see what everyone else is up to).
The coolest veggie in the world? eek!
Thanks for hosting this, Jeff! The holidays can get so crazy! I’m still going through my piles of paperwork on my desk that waited for me while I was off.
Oops! Time got away from me, too, during the holidays and I forgot to send you my tame and my knock-your-socks off chili. If you have another chili cook-off, let me know. I promise I’ll participate. In the meantime (big plug here), would you like to enter my monthly chili cook-off?
